Lekker Creations began with a simple love for creating beautiful, handmade things that bring warmth and meaning into everyday life.

Originally born in South Africa, I grew up surrounded by the word "lekker" — an Afrikaans word meaning good. It's a word that captures a feeling more than anything else… something comforting, joyful, and deeply satisfying. That feeling is at the heart of everything I create.

Now based in Australia, I draw inspiration from the land around me — the golden warmth of the bush, the earthy richness of native botanicals, and the quiet calm of a still evening. Australia has a way of grounding you, and that spirit finds its way into every scent I choose.

The Craft

Every Lekker candle is hand-poured in small batches, right here in Australia. I use 100% natural soy wax — a clean-burning, renewable alternative to paraffin — because what goes into your home matters. Soy wax burns cooler and longer, and holds fragrance beautifully, filling your space without overwhelming it.

The Scents

Fragrance selection is where the real magic happens. Each scent is chosen with intention — some are inspired by the Australian bush, with notes of eucalyptus, wattle, and warm native woods. Others draw from quieter, universal moments: fresh linen, soft florals, the comfort of a warm kitchen. Every fragrance is thoughtfully blended to evoke a feeling, not just a smell.
